Description
The film is an intimate, unfiltered portrait of the way real children experience movies with their families, highlighting the Netflix service as a source of family togetherness.
Execution
Netflix and their creative partners conducted extensive casting searches consisting of street teams and open casting calls for real families. Over 150 interviews were conducted (most inside the families’ homes), and the pool was narrowed to 12. In order to capture true family rituals and activities surrounding movie night, we refrained from altering any of the families’ wardrobe and setting.
