Description
The idea was to show the real living conditions of homeless teenagers in Israel.
Every year, a 3 days open house exposition is made in Tel Aviv where wealthy people open their houses for show. We made a switch in 2016 Open Houses Exhibitions by adding a "different house" to the itinerary. The house where homeless teenagers come to do their basic needs and that looks very different to the other houses.
The idea was to shock the 300.000 people that came to the exhibition and made them understand the very unfortunate conditions that this kids have to live in.
Execution
Through the Open House tour in Tel Aviv, our target audience got to the Elem's house. This exhibition included: a tour of the house, meetings with the teenagers and there was a donating spot for people who wanted to hel this homeless kids.
The exhibitions lasted 3 days and it got to 300.000 people from our target audience.
Outcome
Our only objective was to increase donations for Elem NGO after several years of declining.
Thanks to this campaign, Elem accomplished an increased on its donations of 170%.
