In 2017 Monocle proposed to develop a bespoke content series spanning over 8-consecutive issues of the magazine in partnership with Audi.
Each edition uncovers a key benefit of owning an Audi electric car, turn it on its head and bring it to life in a topical context relevant to our readers. This approach allowed us to showcase Audi’s thought-leadership and know-how while putting the audience in the driver’s seat on the road to zero emission.
We presented notable individuals and started a conversation around the potential positive outcomes there could be if the world takes ownership of going electric.
Taking each individual’s comment or statistic as a base, we developed a story around the benefit and illustrate this through a unique manga styled moodboard. Using an elegant black & white palette, with confident pops of fluro colour, the design is sophisticated and exciting and printed on trimmed, original manga stock.
