Description
To appeal to the NFL’s enormous fan base, we sent our custom football innovations to superstar athletes who shared the content across their social channels. To appeal to our fans who might not care about football, we made sure that those custom football innovations were as funny as they were useless.
Execution
The professional sports world is filled with advertising clichés of intensely performing athletes. We knew that by showing the humorous side of the NFL, we could create work that would celebrate Old Spice products, drive fan engagement, and separate us from our competitors.
Outcome
The work amassed 6.35MM views across all channels and drove engagement rates that were well over our average!
Overall, the Old Spice Football Ball Sports Club connected our audience to the NFL in a brand new way.
