We saw over 200 people for this role. We wanted a couple that feels like they have a back story. The energy and bitterness of a relationship gone bad. And that's exactly what we did. We got Danya and Karim both never acted before. Who were dating back in university, and ended their relationship on a bad note. So the energy was so present in the film.
