BBC launched ‘White Season’; a series of programmes on what it feels like to be white, working class and in the minority. This incendiary issue created heated debate on bbc.co.uk’s 'Have Your Say' site but there was no way to explore the thousands of comments and emotions evoked by the season. Saint created a data visualisation tool called Spectrum that is fed by Have Your Say. Spectrum presents a clear illustration of the key emotions aroused by the season. It's a simple, playful tool that lets you see what the nation is thinking as the debate unfolds in real time.
