State Theatre Darmstadt: Something is movingBriefing: Pop-up banner campaign for State Theatre Darmstadt Concept: For the start of the 2003/04 theatre season, we launched an integrated cross media campaign for “Staatstheater Darmstadt”. With the slogan “Something is moving”, it communicates the extensive restoration of the building and the theatre’s new program. Integral to the campaign, Flash pop-up banners represent the campaign’s central theme and combine it with the aspect of movement in a surprising manner. The key aesthetic visual is composed of naked dancers striking theatrical, dynamic poses behind a transparent construction foil. This lifts the unemotional and factual aspect of the restoration to a metaphorical and human level, which symbolizes the process of metamorphosis the theatre has undergone.
