Execution

This film opens during the first ever nationwide lockdown due to the

Coronavirus pandemic.

We see eerily empty streets all over the UK.

A real resident’s voice says “It’s like a movie script. You couldn’t write it.”

We then witness all kinds of people subjected to lockdown. We see in through

their windows and sometimes inside their homes. They give each other haircuts,

wave to neighbours and bake them bread. We see kids playing snap with each

other. People helping each other.

Over this we hear people calling their grandad’s to check they’re ok, asking

neighbours if they need anything, helping each other out in the garden and doing

favours for people they’ve never met.

Culminating in a riotous applause for the NHS and the endline, ‘when lockdown

is over, all this doesn’t need to be over.’

‘There’s a glass and a half in everyone.’
