This Girl Can celebrates the women who are doing their thing no matter how they do it, how they look or even how sweaty they get. They’re here to inspire us to wiggle, jiggle, move and prove that judgement is a barrier that can be overcome.#thisgirlcan

The idea is to breakdown stereotypes that only women of a certain image, age or body type are portrayed by the media to take responsibility for their health and fitness.

Kim Gehrig wanted this street cast and was adamant that we find real girls and women of all shapes, sizes, abilities, jiggly bits and for them to be proud of themselves for giving sport or exercise a go. We searched across England for this from gyms to parks, pools to docks, Football pitches to netball courts, Zumba to spin class and found the process absolutely inspiring.
