Human trafficking crime has five forms in Egypt (i.e. exploitation of homeless children, contractual marriage, trafficking for organ removal, sexual exploitation and forced labor).
The film empowers and humanizes the victims; portrayed as mannequins, as they transition to humans with a second chance for a better life free from exploitation (as they escape the situation or someone takes action to end it), and demonstrates how the proactivity and courage of a family member, someone at work, member of society, police, and even the victim are all protagonists to ending the crime and saving the victim.
Preparing this short film was aiming to create the needed attention among the public audience. This film is paving the way towards a clear social understanding of the crime characteristic, and it sheds light on the national victim protection system that includes the victims of human trafficking (VOT)'s helplines numbers.
