We needed to create banners that would create awareness of the crime documentary ‘True Crime Scene’ before its broadcast on SABC Television. The magnifying glass execution is a white banner containing a small black dot. As you mouse over it, the pointer becomes a zoom tool. Clicking on the black dot increases the size until you can read the copy hidden in the smallest piece of evidence. Due to the nature of the show, this campaign appeals to people with investigative minds. It relies on inquisitive people engaging to discover the hidden meaning, much like real-life crime scene investigators.
