Description

This is a true story

A man drives a van.

Somewhere else, we see a girl working.

He parks the van and opens the cargo door. There’s a projector inside.

With a laser pen he draws a heart and a message on the wall of a building:

You are my love.

He calls her.

She comes to the window, sees the message on the wall, gets really emotional and rushes to the street. He also runs towards her with a bouquet of roses.

They hug and kiss.

Then… he kneels and asks her to marry him.

It´s Valentine´s Day.

Execution

TMN is a great innovator in Portugal and has introduced to the market major advances in communications. So we had to find a new way to convey a message.

We found a new technology called laser graffiti – a technology that allows you to write and draw on huge walls using a laser pen. We rented a laser graffiti machine and gave it to Luis – the boyfriend. He wrote a love message on the wall of a building in front of the hospital where his girlfriend was working. Then he called her and asked her to come to the window. She was astonished. In the end, Luis proposed to her.

Nothing was fake or fiction. It was a real story with real people.

The footage was put together and aired on the internet and then, due to its success, on TV, just before Valentine´s Day.

Outcome

People loved it! Everyone talked about it on the internet. (clipping). TMN was viewed as sponsor of love. A lot of people – mostly girls - complained on social media about the lack of romantic ideas from their boyfriends and husbands.

Results:

- In a country with 6.000.000 internet users, 1.288.474 were reached.

- 233.312 YouTube views

- 7.834 Facebook likes

- 3.356 Facebook shares

- She accepted the marriage proposal!
