In Canada, we celebrate the May 24th long weekend by hanging out in the shed and, above all, drinking beer. Fortunately, Maple Leaf Vienna Sausage and beer have a lot in common.
So parodying beer advertising was a natural fit, lending some well-needed cachet to our brand. Further reinforcing this link, guys were encouraged to buy six cans (‘a six pack’) and enter to win the Shed of Your Dreams - the perfect place to enjoy your Viennas this long weekend.
