Description
Throughout history, Vogue has launched the greatest tendencies of fashion, like the LBD (little black dress) or the feminine smoking.
In 1926, Gabrielle Coco Chanel has published a picture of a short, simple black dress on American Vogue.
“Le smoking”, created by famous couturier Yves Saint Laurent, pioneered long, minimalist, androgynous style for women.
It appeared In French Vogue, Paris, 1975, in Helmut Newton's iconic photo.
Execution
These posters were entirely hand crafted in paper. Every small object was handmade in small-scale and photographed afterwards.
We created a scenery that represented the time and the place of each theme:
The 'Little Black Dress': the twenties, Coco Chanel & Audrey Hepburn's style.
Le smoking: Yves Saint Laurent, androgynous style, Helmut Newton's iconic photograph shot in Paris.
Outcome
Vogue Portugal is having tremendously good response, though the campaign was recently launched.
It's thinking on doing a real Vogue Pop Up Stand in Fashion Night Out.
