Despite being such an advanced and well-educated society, Hong Kong extremely uneducated about the way HIV is treated and contracted. People with HIV are often treated unfairly because of Hong Kong’s lack of education about the illness. Under this situation, most of the people living with HIV in Hong Kong have not let their close ones know about their HIV status, where only a minimal amount of them has disclosed their HIV status in the mass communication.
