Description
Create a brand experience that brings 'Share happy' (The Wall’s communication platform) to life. Make it engaging and have ice cream at its heart.Develop a graphic language, interface design and animation style for the “Share Happy” campaign.
Execution
Our first challenge was to get people to notice the machine. We developed an entertaining ‘attractor screen’ that superimposes consumers’ faces onto the heads of illustrated characters. The experience was instantly engaging – making the machine incredibly difficult to walk past without interaction. Once we got people’s attention we ask them to come closer and smile for a free ice cream. Using facial recognition the ‘smile-o-meter’ measures their smile, we take a picture,upload the smile to Facebook and they get a free ice cream!
Outcome
The results aren’t available yet. We will to supply to the festival in May. Anecdotally the results are great – consumers cannot walk past the machine without stopping and interacting. The machine puts a smile of everyone’s face and consumers love playing with it and love the way it looks. And they get free ice cream too!
