When you own a dog, exercising your dog properly is essential as we think about dogs’ physical and mental health and social growth. But unlike humans, not all weather is conducive to every kind of dog. Also, the climate is particularly changeable in Japan, so sometimes it is difficult to find a suitable opportunity to take your dog for a walk.

We created a mobile platform “WANPO WEATHER”, that tells the best weather to walk your dog. We developed our own algorithm that calculated the best “Walking index” for a dog based on the dog’s breed, age, as well as weather information, such as temperature, precipitation, and wind speed. As you register your dog’s information, WANPO WEATHER would tell you if the weather is suitable for your dog or not using the 4 stages of “The IAMS Walking index.”
