It’s a story of necessity, when moonshiners were outrunning the law in the backwoods in the 30’s only to use those same skills navigating the hairpin turns of Daytona beach. It’s a story of running first, for the driver and the fans that took to this new sport’s unlikely heroes and grew the sport into something bigger than anyone could have ever imagined. It’s a story about love. Love of danger. Love of speed. Love of heroes. Love of something that is so imperfect, that it is in fact perfect.
