“My daughter is starting her 2nd year in high school.”

Says the father as he films her with his video camera. His daughter turns back and waves to him.

She’s now preparing for her university entrance exams. We watch her through her father’s eyes.

Before her big exam, the daughter takes out a photograph that is clearly precious to her.

In a flashback sequence from the father’s point of view, we see the daughter as a toddler, her first successful bicycle ride,, her first day at school, her rebelling against her parents.

Then we see her at a hospital. She’s crying.

It was her father who had passed away that was watching over her.

“I got accepted.”

Under a cherry tree in full bloom, the daughter puts her hands together.

“Thank you, dad.”

“Congratulations.”

We hear the father say, as the daughter looks up to the sky and nods.
