Yarn set out not only to create new ad formats, but rethink the entire user advertising engagement experience with the release of Windows 8 and partner apps. Partners Delta, Jeep , Paramount Pictures and Ford were offered the exclusive opportunity to co-develop never-been-done before ads on the innovative platform .
The result: Groundbreaking innovation in the form of signature and immersive gestures, a new kind of contextual relevance, and deep interaction with surrounding content. Leveraging touch technology allowed consumers to engage and interact with advertising in a way that pushed the envelope in an otherwise predictable landscape of products offered elsewhere.
Windows 8 ads-in-apps is truly a re-imagination of advertising itself. This revolutionary new platform is redrawing the boundaries for design and user experience in a way that’s changing the foundation on which brands talk to consumers, as well as how they engage with them. The message reception for Delta, Jeep, Paramount Pictures and Ford were maximized because the user’s app experience was never compromised.
