Description

To find a unique and arresting way to communicate to people that by choosing to buy and use non-recycled paper products, it could lead to illegal deforestation habitat destruction. Our objective was to raise awareness about deforestation around the world and that people can do something about it by simply choosing to ask for recycled paper products

Execution

The creative solution was to produce and distribute for free, what we now call “Take Notes”. Sticky notes with a beautiful forest setting that disappears as you use them which highlights what happens when you choose non-recycled paper products. Forest facts are printed on each note are also printed to further drive home our message every time a person uses the notes – furthermore, these “sticky noters” help us spread our message more each the notes are stuck on a computer, page, or file.

Outcome

We set up in the city and gave away everyone of our “Take Notes” to the business community in the city of Sydney. Each person responded very positively to our free Take Notes, and where mostly unaware and shocked at the forest facts printed on the notes. Our “take noters” are continuing to spread the word at their workplace everyday.
