Execution

• Created a scalable program to educate and integrate Yahoo! into the life of a New to Net user.

• User driven activation at internet cafes was tapped to involve the influencers - café owners and the users.• "Discover internet in 60 minutes", an e-learning module, was developed with India's leading education solution provider, NIIT and installed on cyber café terminals.• Module used Yahoo! properties and applications to demonstrate utility of internet.• Users opened mail accounts as part of the program and were certified by NIIT completion.

• Collaterals created visibility and diverted consumers to the Yahoo homepage.

Outcome

• Taking the new Yahoo experience across the country was a critical success factor for the Learn with Yahoo Campaign.• Total reach of the program – 8.8 million cybercafe walk-ins.• Total number of certificates issued as part of program completion – 410,000.

• Total number of cities tapped in the program – 50 cities across India.• Total cafes partnered for the program – 2,448 cafes.• Total number of PCs installed with the campaign communication – 12,240• New look of Yahoo was experienced by a massive volume.
