Execution
We created a series of four pieces of creative work each of which took the design cues from the Twelve Years a Slave posters but incorporated real stories of modern slavery that were provided to us by Hope for Justice. Each execution highlighted the number of years that this modern victim had been enslaved and highlighted the horrific experiences that they had endured. Every execution explained how there are 27 million people living a life of slavery today and that a donation to Hope for Justice could help rescue someone from slavery
Outcome
Our social media distribution hinged on the social media furore around the Oscars ceremony. We have had a reach of over one million and spent just $200 on twitter advertising. In addition Metro newspaper were so impressed with the work they donated a space in their daily edition which has an estimated readership of over 3.5 million people.
Quote from Hope for Justice:
"Our website experienced almost 4 times its usual traffic on the days immediately following the campaign."
