OVERVIEW

Description

Most children beggars in Thailand are victims of human trafficking and are part of child slavery systems. Feeling compassionate to child beggars is only natural; however, giving money to them only makes the matter worse. It will keep them in forced labor which they can never get out of.

Youth Guardian Foundation is on a mission to help those children and give them their lives back. We wanted to raise awareness of this issue and ask people to stop giving children beggars their money, but instead, they should call our numbers and we will find ways to help those children.

Execution

The visual of child beggars trapped in a coin is used as our key communicative visual. Together with a straight-forward headline asking audiences to stop giving their money, the posters effectively raised awareness to the issue and provided an impactful solution to the problem.

Outcome

After the campaign was launched, Youth Guardian Foundation received over 200 calls per day reporting child beggars across the country.
