Film opens in a house. Morning sunrays are falling inside from the small slit between the curtains. Camera slowly pans and we see a photo frame on a table with the pic of a beautiful woman and a guy, smiling. Camera zooms out a little and we see a bald woman is holding the frame and looking at it. We see some needle marks on her hand. She is bald and looks a little haggard but her face is glowing with the sunrays falling on it.

At this time alarm goes off and woman quickly puts the frame back on the table and switches off the alarm. She quickly looks at the husband, just to assure that his sleep is not been disturbed by the alarm. Finding him sleeping, she smiles and gets up.

While passing through the room she switches on the radio. A song starts filling the ambience.

Cut to the woman in kid’s room, rubbing her baldhead against the little daughter and she is giggling. Sending the kid to the bathroom, the woman goes to kitchen.

She puts a utensil on the burner.

Cut to she is about to prepare the breakfast. Habitually (many woman does) she does the gesture of tying up and at this moment she sees her reflection in the cabinet and realises –no hair.

Cut to she is serving the breakfast and husband and daughter is eating.

Cut to she sees off the kid to school from the door only. Now she herself is getting ready. She comes out of the bathroom. Chooses a dress. Takes out a jeans-shirt, wears it. She wears a stole on the head. She thinks something and then removes the stole and jeans-tshirt and keeps it back. She takes out a saari. She wears the saari and is looking very beautiful.

Now she picks up one small black ‘bindi’ (forehead decoration in India) and when she is about to put it on the forehead, a hand comes and holds her hand. This is the husband who was watching her from behind. He was seeing her apprehensions. He holds her hand, takes the ‘bindi’ and put it on the right temple, instead.

(THE FILM USES A VERY INTERESTING AND RICH INDIAN CULTURAL PRACTICE TO MAKE THE POINT. IN FACT THAT TRADITIONAL PRACTICE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ACT IN THE FILM AND IS A TURNING POINT IN THE STORY.

ALL THE THREE THINGS ARE TRUE IN THE CONTEXT OF OUR PROTAGONIST WHO IS A CANCER SURVIVOR. SHE HAS DEFEATED HER BIGGEST ENEMY AND NOW STARTING LIFE AFRESH. SHE IS BEAUTIFUL BECAUSE SHE IS BRAVE.

THE ACT OF HER HUSBAND OF PUTTING BLACK BINDI (FOREHEAD DECORATION IN INDIA) ON THE TEMPLE INSTEAD OF HER FOREHEAD DOES ALL THE THREE THINGS. The woman looks at him in surprise, and smiles. He hugs her.

Cut to the husband and the wife in a car. Husband looks at the wife, she is looking a little hesitant. Husband holds her hand, reassures her. She nods and gets down.

Cut to she is standing in front of a door of an office. She hesitatingly and slowly opens it and enters. As she enters, she was hugged by a girl from behind. She turns back. The girl is smiling looking at her. She smiles too. Girl hugs her. While looking at her girl looks at the bindi on the temple. She is surprised. But than she gets that and removes her bindi and puts it next to the first one. The lady wonders. During all this while we see another lady comes close and she already watched this. She takes out a little kajal (eyeliner) from her eye and put that on her temple, next to two bindis. She is overwhelmed. The office starts clapping. Camera focuses on lady’s face filled with all kind of ‘tika’s’ and she is laughing with tears of joy.
