OVERVIEW

ClientBriefOrObjective

With a very tight budget:To create awareness, buzz and attention about The Walking Dead, Season 2.Both from the professional market –it is very important for Fox Crime Norway, as a new channel in Norway, to be 'on the radar' and get media coverage- and from the audience.

To get people to visit The Walking Dead landing page at Fox Crime.

Effectiveness

The full-size tear-off poster generated loads of attention from the audience. Pictures were taken in front of the board and arms and legs were torn off in true zombie fashion. It was mentioned in Norwegian marketing media, featured on Creativity Online and on countless international blogs. It became the most popular landing page at foxcrime.no, making the client very happy about the results of their (very small) investment.

Implementation

The solution was to create a tear-off poster with full size zombies and we worked closely with JCDecaux to install it at one of Oslo's busiest tube- and train stations – The National Theatre station.

Relevancy

WIth a very tight budget - even by Norwegian standards - we needed to create a true, relevant and raw zombie experience that the passers by would remember. Ripping off arms and legs with the web address is a reminder in true zombie spirit.
