The brief was to create an opener for 'On the Borders' program, a current affairs show that deep dives into the impact of events and decisions of major countries, and discusses how it impacts the lives of people living in the other regions of the Arab world. Major monuments of the world form and dominate the scene. To show details of small cities, we used multitudes of miniature buildings, almost invisible when compared to the major monuments. Borders are highlighted in gold as it is the main theme of the show. Transitions are also conceptualized to signify deep dives and also show multiple perspectives. The loge of the show, which appears at the end, is elegantly designed to highlight the border proposition of the show.

For this opener, we used Gold as the main color theme as it shows the cultural richness of the Arab world, and it's also a color well regarded by Arabs.

the animation was conceptualized to signify the changing and evolving landscape of news. as the elements move to form the monuments, in its rich textures, so too is our hope to communicate the changing landscape of news, business, and politics.
