Our answer was The ’10 Unleashed. Ten incredible Mustang experiences captured in a series of original documentaries and brought to life online and beyond. For our first act, we fulfilled a drift champion’s dream, taking the Mustang to the one place racing enthusiasts would least expect to see it: Japan, the birthplace of drifting. In a five-part documentary series, we chronicled his Mustang experience as he drove with the best drifters in the world.Chapter 1/Touge: The RootsWe hit the underground spots where drifting was born. In the dark of the night, we make our way to the docks of Osaka, evade the police and catch illegal drift racing at its best. From there, we head towards Touge, or the mountains, the place where drifting began its unbelievable journey to become one of the most exciting motorsports of our time.
