The trailer follows three friends whose excitement for Call of Duty leads them to take the spirit of the resistance to the next level. Our heroes live in a world of coded messages, secret passwords, and clandestine meetings.

To celebrate the imminent launch of Call of Duty: WWII’s first DLC Pack, The Resistance, Activision is inviting gamers to live in the spirit of the legendary fighters through a new live-action trailer. Call of Duty: WWII marks a return to the franchise’s roots, and this year’s first DLC pack – debuting first on PlayStation 4 – is all about The Resistance. Players battle as European Resistance fighters in all-new maps, a new War Mode mission, and a new chapter of Nazi Zombies.

The directors restructured the story to track around the main characters in a circle and then cutaway to their individual stories allowing their voiceover to help propel the scenes, rather than do it in a linear scene by scene format. They expanded the use of the conference room scene and their camera movement to help motivate the narrative.
