A very small budget. Had to rely on supplied and found imagery. Minimising the colour palette and creating my own typefaces and illustrations helped make what could have been a very disjointed look more cohesive.

The Creative Circle is a celebration of British Advertising Creativity.
To create an awards annual that does more than show the winning work. Make it an insight and reflection of the current creative climate in the UK that is essential reading for all Advertising Creatives and Students. Stand apart from the hard back awards annuals that you need two hands to pick up.
Implementation
Circle shows the winning and nominated work entered into the Creative Circle awards. It also interviews the creatives behind the work, aiming to give an insight into the thought process, obstacles and energy that made the work happen. Its focus is on inspiration rather than congratulation. Deliberately punk and non-conformist like the best in British creativity.
Outcome
Entries were up 25% and table sales at the event were up 60%.
Sales of the magazine were up from 5000 for issue 1 to 7500 for issue 2.
