Moral Injury is the internal suffering that occurs when one is forced to break their own moral code. Many veterans in the United States come back into society trying to reconcile with this, and Volunteers of America’s initiative is to educate the masses on this epidemic and try to provide resources and support to those afflicted.
The piece premiered in Times Square on the NASDAQ billboard on World Suicide Prevention Day (9/10).
