Description
An expression of the belief and evidence that its the power of humanity that's our greatest weapon against cancer – the unique qualities that makes us human and fuels big and small wins over cancer every day.
Execution
To further demonstrate the idea behind the "Advantage Humans” campaign, we enlisted acclaimed photographer and cancer survivor Sandro Miller to capture portraits of patients, fellow survivors and those closely affected by the disease. Each subject’s portrait featured a word that conveys the human edge over cancer, with the series of portraits showcasing the breadth of the human advantage.
Outcome
The 'Advantage Humans' campaign signaled a new chapter for the American Cancer Society – not just in what and how we communicated, but how the brand would behave from the inside out. All of which is and will be work-in-progress for many years to come.
