Description
The aim was to create a book that inspires and gives a personal insight into the agency.
Execution
Often advertising is very restrictive. The illustration and design of the book emerge of absolute freedom. I was allowed to interpret the stories from how I felt about the stories, and transport the stories in this way in a new layer.
It was important to me (Julia Ziegler), that the design of the book outside and inside play together, but not telling too much about what to expect inside when you look at the outside of the book.
It should be more a feeling of surprise and fireworks when you open this book and see the illustration and read the stories. Therefore I combined the "old classic library linen look" with the handwritten title on the book.
Outcome
At this moment on amazon.de only three examples are still available and in many book-stores the book is already sold out. We got many, many positive resonances. The German press reported in several articles about the book, potential clients wrote us letters and emails and for many "youngstars" our book was the reason to apply for a job at Jung von Matt. Many moms and dads now know more about "what we are doing" and are very proud of us!
