Description
To use ad agency Hasan & Partners Christmas Greeting as an example of an integrated engagement marketing campaign with new media instruments, and to show clients and potential clients how a marketing campaign can stand out when there is a lot of noise in the marketplace, lots of Christmas cards and wine bottles.
Execution
First we formulated a list of 'Six Principles For Getting Noticed'. It was decided that each step of the campaign demonstrates one principle:1. A huge Christmas Card; size.
2. Email which invited receivers to a site to vote for their gift; ability to influence.
3. The gift was sent (DVD film); good content.
4. Rich messages to mobile phones; continued dialogue.
5. Summary and feedback.
Outcome
The campaign was a success. 1,200 cards were sent and over 900 people visited the site (PULL 75%). Over 600 hundred left their phone number for contact. There were a lot of positive comments about the funny and inspired use of new media.
