We visited tradesmen at their shops and found out that they constantly used their calendars and relied on their notebooks to take notes.
So we wanted to create a calendar inspired by the tradesmen using the kind of paper they use in their daily lives. We talked to tradesmen from different occupations and learned about the details of papers they use and what it means to them. We collaborated with the best paper manufacturers in Turkey to find the exact same types of paper to print in our calendar.
We featured 12 types of paper for each month of the year such as 90 gr wax paper that butchers use to wrap meat, 70 gr silicon craft paper Turkish coffee sellers use to keep the coffee fresh, and so on.
Outcome
By making the tradesmen feel understood and appreciated, we strengthened the emotional link between the brand and tradesmen. Now the tradesmen start each day with our calendars. From payment plans to important notes, they keep track of everything with Akbank.
