Description
Few people know sign language, and most of them think that it’s as simple as doing mimic, although it has its own grammar and gestures. There are books and courses to learn this language, but there wasn’t an online tool until now.
Execution
We shot 12,000 movie clips, each per word or sign and then programmed them with the Spanish language grammar. We built a microsite and an app with a real interpreter who can translate every phrase from Spanish to sign language.
Outcome
RESULTS:
We changed hearing people’s view of the deaf community and sign language.
