Creative Execution:Nedbank approached this group of township artists and commissioned them to weave a billboard entirely from plastic bags collected from communities and recycled plants.Used to weaving nothing bigger than a doormat, the group of women washed, cut and wove the bags into the first 40 square meter billboard in just under a month.
Outcome
By empowering the women we created the first fully recycled plastic billboard, cleaned up the community and created a number of jobs too
