Last season, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James had the most dramatic seasons of their careers. Nike introduced the Most Valuable Puppets campaign and captured the imagination of the entire sports world. The campaign built upon our stars’ personalities by elevating their individual games, passion and dedication. It told the story of a sibling-like rivalry between our two stars. It showcased their killer competitive nature in a comedic way. With the introduction of Lil Dez, the MVP campaign also provided a voice for our young aspirational audience — the young ballers out there who admire Kobe and LeBron but are also celebrated as they "Just Do It" in their own way.
