We held a game event in which people controlled real men. They could only move where instructed via mobile and the website. Anyone could join in at anytime.
Turn Right, Turn Left, and Go straight. The INTERNAVI MEN start to walk around as instructed just as we are usually guided by car navigation systems. The man who got the object at the destination and returned first was the winner.
This is a fusion between the internet and a real event; this was participatory advertising.
Outcome
In September, the number of views of the website was over 120,000. The number joining from mobile was over 30,000 for only 1 day.Throughout the event, everyone was focused on the INTERNAVI.
