Execution

A child of about 10 years of age doubled as a Wi-Fi antenna at places with no Internet access, so people up to 100 meters away could log in and surf the web. As soon as users logged in to the “Wi-Fi Child” network, a login screen showed a message that explained the idea: “EVERYBODY WANTS ACCESS TO INFORMATION. INCLUDING THIS CHILD”. People were then redirected to Casa do Zezinho’s Facebook page, where they were invited to spread the idea.

Outcome

During this action, the NGO’s website saw an increase of 75% in page views. It was shared by thousands of people on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Donations increased by 20%.
