Description
This is the second year New Zealand Post have run the Design a Stamp Competition. Last year’s competition was hugely successful however, this year, 500 less schools were invited to participate, yet the client still wanted the same number of responses. It was a daunting task.
Execution
To encourage kids to enter, we wanted to show them how their work would look as an actual stamp. So we sent their teachers empty frames they could put over kids work so they can see their work as a stamp. We also mailed a follow up pack to encourage responses and a winners pack to get teachers and students excited about next year’s competition.
Outcome
Even though we mailed 500 less schools than last year, we still managed to get more entries and the standard of work was higher.
