Description

The agency came up with a foam box that the critics and reporters would receive: "Miramax presents Cold Mountain, an Anthony Mingella film".Inside, dry ice was hidden in a special compartment beneath the press book. As you opened the box, the air contact would make a heavy cold dew come out covering the snow covered three dimensional mountain depicting the movie's views, the critics and reporters would then realise that what was kept inside was the press book with the movie information and an invitation to the premiere in Madrid and Barcelona.

Outcome

90% of the critics and reporters attended the event. The piece even came out on TV when the movie was talked about. The critics were pretty positive with their reviews and the movie ticket sales and media coverage were quite good.
