Description
The Commonwealth Bank of Australia was the major sponsor of the tri-nations cricket series, held in February and March. The brief was to take that sponsorship, and appeal to the true Australian cricket fan.
Execution
To tap into the unique heritage of Australian cricket and do more than just be a logo on a shirt. So we created a short mpeg that reflected what Australia had brought to the game. ‘A brief history of the mullet in cricket’ was born.
Outcome
Since launch, the love cricket website where the mpeg is located has been visited over 80,000 times. At present the pass on rate from viewers of ‘the mullet’ stands at 79%.
