OVERVIEW

Description

One out of every three Japanese people has allergies. Daikin has begun selling a revolutionary air cleaner that removes allergens from the air. To help children suffering from allergies, and their parents, to become familiar with the outstanding functions of this product, the company has also developed a promotional character, “Robo Pichon”, in the form of “robot of justice” that fights allergies. As you know, the Japanese people are a people who love animation, promotional characters, and of course, robots.

Execution

V-stone is a world-class robot research centre, and is currently producing eight models of robots that walk on two legs. The company visits kindergartens throughout Japan, creating friendships with the children of the schools they visit. As such, mothers are also very familiar with the company. V-stone is also developing campaigns using television commercials and outdoor posters. V-stone provides children with the surprising experience of actually being able to touch and meet robots that they have seen on television. After one of the company’s presentations, we can imagine the children running home and telling their parents about meeting a real robot!
