Over 10 years the forests of Paraguay were cleared at a rapid pace. Government authorities were given the responsibility of taking action, but the WWF felt that everyone needed to be made aware of the effects of deforestation, as well as being made aware of unnecessary waste of resources, so they started this foundation.
