Description
Candles, water and a glass lid represent global warming ans sea level rises. OndAzul is an NGO which is well-known in Brazil for its efforts towards preservation of the environment, global warmming, especially in regard to the sea.
Execution
We have brought the reality of water to everyone’s day-to-day life, prompting people to take an attitude about the issue. By means of an interactive software, OndAzul projected a totally dirty area of sea on the floor of shopping malls. Shoppers were enticed to clean the dirt by wiping the floor with their hands and feet. Little by little, the sea would become cleaner, in this way demonstrating that people’s action could make the difference. The concept’s signature read: “Do your part: keep our sea clean.”
