Description

The first drone in the world that refills your cup of beer while you enjoy an electronic music festival, without having to loose your spot in front of the stage nor miss the show.

Execution

We used one of our sponsored electronic music festivals as a venue for the activation “Epic Refill”, which consisted on a promotional beer cup, that could be refilled as many times as the user wanted.

The catch: users didn’t have to get in line for a beer; they just had to raise the cup and a pilot would fly a drone with beer to them to refill their cup.

The festival, Motion by Bud Light, took place at Culiacan, Mexico, on march 31st; with more than 15,000 attendants.

Outcome

Our drones refilled cups during the 8 hours that the festival lasted, delivering more than 1600 Bud Lights.

Influencers and attendants were our means to reach all the people who weren’t at the festival, achieving 20.9 M of impressions.

That day, Bud Light sales, counting those that weren’t part of the promo “Epic Refill”, doubled the average sales on a festival of the same scale.
