Description
How to execute a piece of art for outdoor that would have cut-through in the Australian market and link the new TV series back to the feature film in a unique and chilling way.
Execution
One of the most distinctive elements of the original film Fargo was its bleak, frozen landscape. We leveraged this memorable aspect of the film to build excitement for the TV series, by creating a chilling atmosphere fit only for this coldest of murder series.
We used blood containing the DNA of North Dakotan resident, Kellen Timboe and froze it to create the title of the show.
We then froze the inside of a JCDecaux panel, carving the interiors of the panel using an ice pick, chainsaw, blowtorch, heated knives and hammers in sub-zero temperatures.
