OVERVIEW

Description

The story begins in an empty room where there’s only the boxing sandbag hanging in the center of the room with a man in Muay Thai pants. The man started to kick the sandbag while the locker, photos frames, and other furniture continue falling on the floor and the room turns out to be a hotel room at Muay Thai hotel, In the final scene, the man fallen a sleep on the sandbag.

Execution

The ad begins with a face full of determination. A male protagonist is staring at something. With sweats all over his head and the serious look, it is certain that he is doing something so important to him.

Moving away from him, the camera reveals him in boxing outfits. In an empty room, facing with him is the sandbag. A boxing bell rings. He kicks his right leg to the sandbag.

Unexpectedly, a chair drops onto the left corner of the room.

Then, he kicks his left leg. Three photo frames drop and magically fix onto the wall. The camera moves to the left of the frame, he delivers a one-two punch. A closet suddenly falls hard onto the floor. While the camera is moving back, he strikes the sandbags with knees. A shelf falls.

When the camera moves to the right of the frame, he uses a high kick. He gets a lamp and a table. Ending with a back kick, a trademark Muaythai technique, he gets a bed. Last but not least, he knows that a Muaythai fight can never be complete without the most dangerous form of strike, he then uses the elbow attack. In return, a pillow is awarded to make his bedroom complete.

The ‘Fight for a free night’ logo appears. Cut back, he is having a good sleep hugging the sandbag as if it was a side pillow.

Logo of the hotel, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the campaign sponsor, appear.
