OVERVIEW

Description

In this type led animation, wall stencils show a teenager travelling from place to place along a precarious path of words.

These words describe the dilemma that young homeless people face every day.

They read ‘Live at home where you know your parents will abuse you or risk living on the street where you know the next stranger you meet could cause you serious harm. It’s a dilemma no teenager should have to deal with.’

The path becomes increasingly dangerous, causing the teenager to fall.

We see the words ‘Don’t let 80,000 young people fall into a life without hope.’ as they fall further.

Then the words ‘Get them to a safe place.’ act as a safety net and stop the teenager falling before viewers are directed to a website where they can help.

Uncomfortable sound design represents their uncomfortable journey throughout.
